It’s hard to believe it’s already the third week of our summer program.  Today, the Kindergarteners revisited our on-site garden to ‘observe’ (a vocabulary word of the week) how the garden changed over a week.  They practiced their math skills by comparing how much taller plants grew, counting how many more vegetables have grown, and finding different shapes and colors in the garden.

Isaiah and Bailey count how many ripe red tomatoes they see (they found 5):

Hope and Noah count how many unripe tomatoes they find (34!):

Kire and Jermarr show us how tall our sunflowers have grown. “I couldn’t reach the top because it keeps growing bigger, even though I am too.”
